What time must I check out of the apartment?
Generally, check out is at 11:00 or before. See apartment description for more information. This allows our cleaning crew to prepare the apartment for the next guests. Flexibility is offered where possible. Contact us for more information if required.

In what currency do I pay the deposit?

All deposit payments will be made in local Czech currency. For comparison purposes, costs are accuratley calculated and displayed in Euros using mid-market rates, updated daily. Alternate currencies ($USD, £GBP) are also listed for comparison purposes.

What time can I check-in to my apartment?
Generally, check-in is at 15:00(3 p.m.) or after. This allows for the cleaners to prepare the apartment for your arrival. Flexibility is offered where possible. Contact us should you have special requirements.

I’ve paid my deposit, what’s next for me to do?
Once you’ve paid your deposit, you’ll receive an email which includes a secured log-in name and password. This allows you access to your own private Prague Central Apartments guest log-in page. Once logged-in, you will have access to all of your booking details. Includes easy-to-use email option to exchange/update your arrival information, ask questions, and more.

How are apartment prices listed?
The price listed is for the apartment per night based on an allowable number of guests (typically 4 adults) The number of extra guests possible is listed for each property. The cost per person per night is clearly listed and calculated for you automatically. Choose your apartment, enter your dates and number of guests, the system does the rest for you.

How much do I pay to make the booking?
To secure a booking we require a non-refundable deposit to be paid on credit card. Typically 20% of the total rental cost. All costs are clearly described throughout the booking process

Are all taxes included included in the cost?
All local taxes ARE included in the prices quoted. Any applicable fees such as cleaning fees are stated during the booking process and on the apartment details.

What about additional costs other than taxes?
In some cases you will see a one-time cleaning fee. This is usually based on number of guests with a minimum charge of 40Euro per stay. See each apartment description for details.

How and when do I pay the remaining balance?

The remaining balance can be paid on arrival. Payment is typically made in cash ($USD, £GBP €Euro, Czech crowns) except where other options are described in the apartment description. 

For deposit payments to secure your reservation, we accept major credit cards (Visa,MasterCard, and American Express) or PayPal*.

What documents or identification do I need at check-in?
All guests must provide passport/national ID card to your greeter to record their details. The lead guest must provide valid credit card details to your greeter to be recorded for security purposes. Except where a security deposit is required, there will be no deposits or charges placed on your card unless there is a blatant violation of the rental conditions at which time reasonable costs for repairs/replacements will be secured.

What is provided in the apartment?
Bed linen and bath towels are provided in all of our apartments. Each apartment has a small supplies of toilet paper, and tea and coffee in the apartment, as a courtesy on your arrival. Please note, due to the logistics of supplying and restocking we do not provide toilet paper for your whole stay. Tesco is located nearby for all your household type needs.

What is the Admin fee?
All bookings, regardless of duration, are subject to a booking administration fee of 25Euros.

Is there an extra charge for cleaning?

This will depend on the apartment booked. Details provided for each apartment. Prague Central Apartments reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee should the apartment be left excessively dirty.* Mid-stay cleanings are optional for longer stays.

How secure are my credit card details?
When paying on line, your credit card details are secured using 256 bit SSL encryption.

How do we get the keys?
You will receive the keys from your guest services manager/representative during check-in.

How many sets of keys will we have?
You will have two sets of keys which must be returned at check-out. Extra sets are available if requested minimum 1 week prior to arrival. Charges for lost keys are applied as per your rental agreement*. (*Available on line and at check-in)

What time can we arrive and depart the apartment?
Check-in is 15:00 or after, and check-out is 11:00 or before. We offer flexibility where ever possible and are happy to discuss your needs prior to your arrival. A secured area for luggage is provided. Prague Central Apartments does not charge for this service but we kindly ask you tip your porter/security when warranted

What happens if something goes wrong whilst I am staying in the apartment?
Immediately contact Prague Central Apartments or your guest services representative (greeter) using one of the phone numbers provided at check in. We will do our best to remedy the situation in a timely manner. All vacation properties are consistently and thoroughly maintained; however, certain technical problems may arise with the apartment which are out of our control (i.e.Non-functioning appliances like dishwasher/washing machine, toaster, etc) or in the building. (i.e. amenity issues such as pool/sauna cleaning or elevator/lift repairs). We will replace/repair broken/damaged appliances as quickly as possible however building issues are not under our control.

What if there is an emergency?
If you have an emergency that requires immediate attention, such as being locked out, you can call any of the telephone numbers provided to you throughout the booking/check-in process.

What if I need to cancel my booking prior to arrival?
If, for any reason you need to cancel the booking - please notify us immediately using guest login, email, phone or fax. While your booking deposit is non-refundable, how soon the booking starts dictates the any cancellation fees. Please see our Booking Terms & Conditions for more details.

What if I don't like the apartment when I arrive?
For your peace of mind while booking online we offer our one of a kind guaranteed satisfaction at check in policy You will be given the opportunity to view the apartment before completing check in procedure. If your apartment is not as advertised, we will refund your deposit (minus 30€ administration fee) and you are free to secure alternative accommodations. What happens if, when staying at the apartment I lock myself out?

Immediately contact Prague Central Apartments or call your apartment manager (greeter). Mobile numbers are supplied during check-in. We will make arrangements to let you in as quickly as possible. This service is subject to a minimum 50 Euros charge,(please see terms and conditions for more information) If you are locked out without telephone numbers, go to an internet café and get our contact numbers from www.praguecentralapartments.com

Do not under any circumstances disturb the neighbors or try to ‘break in’ to the apartment. In cases where an emergency locksmith is needed, (including occasions where you render the lock useless by leaving a key inside), you will be charged for their services. Please note: Never leave your keys in the lock, inside the apartment.

How far is my apartment from Prague’s tourist attractions?
Each apartment listed on our site includes a map pinpointing the location of your apartment. Typically, apartments listed are located in the heart of the city. All the major sites are usually within walking distance or you can choose to take Prague’s very efficient tram/streetcar service located nearby as well.

Can I bring a bicycle or other large items?
The answer to this question varies depending on the apartment booked. If it’s important to you, please enquire during the booking process. Alternatively, there are a number of reasonably priced bike rental services available by the hour/day with or without guides.

Can friends or family contact me whilst in the apartment?
Typically, vacation apartments featured on our site are without landlines. Prague Central Apartments can be contacted to relay a message in cases of emergency. Mobile phone rentals are available throuought the city as well as internet cafes. Many of the apartments featured inlcude internet connection.

Are there extra charges for gas, electricity or water?
There are no additional charges for gas, electricity or water. Your rental costs include reasonable utilities' usage. We do ask that you follow reasonable practices in conserving energy...turn off lights, appliances, etc when not being used.

How do I know what to do at check-in/check-out?
In most cases, you will have someone meet you at your apartment to help you with check-in, receive payment and exchange keys. In some instances, you may be required to go to an off-site office to pick up your keys. Each apartment will list details regarding this subject. If you have any questions about your check-in procedure, contact Prague Central Apartments immediately.

What if I have to cancel my reservation?
When a need arises to cancel your reservation, please contact us immediatly. Our Prague Central Apartments Cancellation and Refund Policy is: Minimum 8 weeks prior to arrival - 100% refund (less €50 administration charge) Between 4 and 8 weeks prior to arrival - 50% refund (less €50 administration charge) Less than 4 weeks - deposit retained but can be credited against future reservations

Are the apartments smoke-free?
This depends on the apartment booked. Details are listed on the apartment description page. Please advise us if a "smoke-free" apartment is preferred and it's not clearly stated in the apartment description. Typically, guests can smoke outside on the terrace or balcony where applicable.

Can we bring our pet?
While we appreciate the fact that pets are considered one of the family, we ask that you confirm approval prior to booking, if it isn't clearly stated in the apartment description. There is a cleaning fee charged to your credit card of between 50€-100€ where extra cleaning is needed as a result of 'accidents' or excessive shedding.
